2021-08-21 18:44:52 +0000 UTCDan is the king of manipulation! He's incredibly manipulative to the point of being sociopathic. After the accident he took advantage of Blair's trauma to slide into her life and become the only person she trusted. Dan was the one sending the video. Not only did he keep that a secret - he actually kept pointing the finger at Chuck. Telling Blair that he can't believe Chuck would do something like this. He keeps letting everyone take the blame. And remember back at the beginning of the season where Blair is upset because she feels that Louis is always siding with his mother and that he doesn't stand up for her? She's upset and wants to end the engagement and asks if Dan will be there for her to support her. Dan KNEW that Louis was actually off helping Blair by killing the story about Blair that was about to be published (Dan had called Louis for help), but Dan keeps that a secret and almost let her walk away from everything when he knew the truth. At least Blair actually noticed then what Dan did and yelled at him...
