Mr. Wolf vs Dog Man Update - 05/28/2025

Sorry once again for the delay! I had a bunch of cool shots and backgrounds come in the past 2 days and was trying to decide what to show and what not to show. I have some fun clips for you guys here today!

In case anybody hasn't heard, the project is now delayed until early-mid June. Originally, the due date to have all of the animation done was going to be the 26th, and then we were going to edit it together and release by the 30th. The Dog Man animation is done, but Mr. Wolf needs a little more time. We are almost done, though! And it's looking superb. I'd estimate the animation is about 80% done and the editing has begun on the finished animation. The first clip with Sarah is from a test edit by Rabi that we may end up using, but the other 3 are just compositing tests by various people working on the project. Still, at this stage, the animation shown is completed, the backgrounds are (almost) all completed and we're entering the final stages of production before release.

There are various cameos of other characters from Dog Man and The Bad Guys in the battle. This week's update gives you a look at Lil Petey and 80-HD from Dog Man, and Diane Foxington from The Bad Guys. There's also a visual cameo of the book design for Mr. Wolf, shown here as well. Also, the delay announcement on my YouTube community tab shows a scene with Ms. Tarantula, which is also in the final video. Both series have a rich supporting cast of fan favourite characters, and it was important to the team and I to make sure they showed up at some point in the video. There are several more cameos I'm keeping a secret until the project comes out, so I hope you look forward to those!

The new "release date" is basically just the soonest possible Friday after the 30th. Internally, we are aiming for the 6th or the 13th, depending on how editing goes for some of the parts in the second half of the battle. I should be able to give a more concrete answer on when we're looking to release next week! I appreciate your patience and support as always, and I hope you're looking forward to this project as much as we're looking forward to FINALLY showing it off after months of work!
