I once went to the hospital with side pains, was worried it was my appendix but it was just kidneys acting up. My bill for getting that checked out over the course of a couple hours was $681. An ambulance ride alone costs $700-$900. $1200 is nowhere near enough to pay the medical bills associated with a heart attack.
