I love this episode! Really flexed some of the mystery as to who black was and some people he knew. I love how you could see glimpses of him on video and in the flash back. Little seeds being planted of his beliefs and codes, and I like how you pointed out your thoughts about how black was maybe distancing himself that was a really cool observation! I’m a sucker for mysteries and this episode truly felt like one a bit.
Your starting to see more of Sean now. I love seeing how he clearly feels anger and resentment towards white because he thinks he’s black but you can see he’s struggling to hold that because he’s seeing these nice things white is doing and is starting to become more and more confused because the real black would never do that. Plus you can see his past beginning to surface from him crying in his sleep and in the lecture and white is picking up on that too.
It’s these little character moments that I love to watch about the series especially on rewatch it’s really nice to pick up on that stuff! Cant wait for next ep!

The sort of cliffhanger and all the different questions being raised this episode led me to binge watch the rest of the series (finished in less than 3 days 😅😅).
What really intrigued me was Sean, as you pointed out, clearly something personal happened with Tawi. Even Gumpa says so after Sean tells the group about the mission he wants. Also the flashback with Black definitely gave us a bit more about Sean's relationship with him and why he's so hostile to White from the moment he sees him in the first episode. It must be really confusing for him that White as Black is acting so different. At least, White still tries to keep the asshole persona towards Sean (mainly in the way he talks to him) but his actions definitely show he might care about Sean. Both actors are really good with this dynamic and I can't wait to see your reaction to how it'll develop as the series goes on.
The whole class about impunity was really interesting, for the plot of the series but also for more context about Thailand. Maybe they decided to explain this more for foreign viewers too (like someone commented the series was more promoted outside of Thailand).
Your suspicion of Tod growing when you realised how rich he is was funny. But yeah, in the context of the show, it definitely seems sus that he's loaded...
The fact that the gang uses a children's game to decide on their next mission is pretty funny too.
The end with Eugene and Gram, the plot thickens. What are they up to?
Well, can't wait for next week 😀
I may start Tale of thousand stars next, but I’m currently watching 2gether the series (fun watch with some good romance too). Maybe I’ll watch 1000 stars when I’m finished. (I kinda became a tiny bit addicted to Thai dramas... 😅)
