I had the same reaction, I did not expect them to win that match 😅 but well they surprised us with win.
Kise going god mode was so badass! Just wow.
Also the end of the match, misleading us in thinking Kuroko would score, really cool too.
Great reaction 😊

Kuroko’s manga is already over but it does have some light novels that eventually got turn into manga. For example, Kuroko no basket: Last Game. it’s a movie that is meant to be watched after finishing the last season, i remember i read it somewhere and then i read the manga version and years later it got animated!! One thing i think you should know is that every OVA is really important in the story line. I hope you can include them and watched them in the order it’s suppose to be. About the animation, i agree it’s definitely old but it’s really smooth too!! also it does get better on season two and three. Also, Kuroko’s author helped Haikyuus author a lot with the story and characters, so the similarities are understandable lol since i’ve watched Kuroko first when i saw haikyuu i was like Oikawa reminded me so much of Kise😂 and his dynamic with Kasamatsu.
Btw with Kuroko being injured I think it was a light concussion and his eyebrow got most of the damage and this is explained more in the manga but i guess the anime version skipped some info. I like to think Riko saw his stats and saw he was ok to go😂😂😂 One thing i really like about her it’s like she’s literally a teenager too. There’s no adult around them all the time and it does feel relatable somehow. Maybe she doesn’t know the consequences of using an injured player and that’s ok since she’s learning too, to be a coach. She has learned a lot from her dad too even thought he’s more of a sports trainer.
