Barney and robin are the cutest couple. I shipped them till the very end of the show and personally I feel the moments are sweeter with robin and Barney. And the first episode has to be my favorite with Barneyβs master plan.

2022-09-20 09:57:27 +0000 UTCThe first one is definitely a fave of mine, I just love the reveal at the end! That was just such a sweet surprise and Robin's reaction is so worth it. I'm so proud of Lilly keeping the secret about Ted going to Chicago, she has been really good with that! But all the other times.... lol better that they told her last minute about the surprise rehearsal dinner. The gang mocking Canada lasts so long we get to see a whole lifetime going on in the background π Second episode is weird and definitely filler but I grew to enjoy it more when I rewatched the show. The story are silly and some of the jokes are meh but I guess when you love this cast of characters, you still find good things in it. And the end was cute with Marvin's first thing he remembers being the fireworks. I suppose when you watch the show for the first time, this episode is frustrating because you just want to keep with the plot. The writing to keep up with the rhymes was really well done though.
