I was so surprised with the comedy in this episode. I went in watching this series thinking it'd be quite dark and serious but never expected to laugh so much in the second episode.
Porsche is such a chaotic bodyguard who has the worst first day on the job... Doesn't help that he is so cocky ππ but I truly loved this side of him and this episode made me fall for his character. But he is so bad at his job so far π π
Pete is my favourite character of the series, his intro π iconic. Also, I love how he immediately welcomes Porsche sharing his grandma's food with him. I loved their dynamic from the start. The more serious scene towards the end when Pete tells Porsche that Kinn actually saved his life, it's one of my favourite scene this episode. Also, we get a bit more info on Kinn and how he used to be kind with his people.
Tankhun is quite the character, he's so entertaining and funny, also love his two other bodyguard Pol and Arm. Next episode is so fun with Porsche as Thankhun's bodyguard, can't wait for the reaction.
Pete mentioned the third brother, Kim, who hasn't shown up yet. He's played by Jeff Satur who also sings the beautiful OST that will be in later episodes, his voice is so beautiful.
Vegas is another character I'm curious to see what you'll think about as the series goes on. Bible is a really good actor and I'm excited for you to see more of him in this role.
The talk between Vegas and his father really got me intrigued with why they seem so interested in Porsche.
If you have the subscription, there quite a few fun extras like actors reacting to some scenes and interviews. One of my fave extra is when the cast was asked to play different roles and re-enact scenes, it's quite fun to watch.
Also, later on, there is an extra mini episode between episode 6 and 7, definitely watch it.
And no, Thankhun's pool isn't the same as Todd's in Not Me, it's a different pool that you'll see later in the series.
Definitely looking forward to the next reaction!

Porsche attitude towards his job is not serious at all, but I think it makes sense. What he's learned about working so far is that you can be cheeky without real consequences, and he has years of experience backing up this mindset (I picture him illegally working since a very early age to make money for his brother). Working and playing seems to be the same thing for him. Tankhun is a fantastic character played by Tong, one of our favourite cuties since we met him in TharnType. Thank you so much for another great reaction!
