This episode is still my favourite and the one I actually rewatched a few times.
Up to this point, I had really mixed feelings about Kinn and Porsche as a couple. I had a hard time getting over the non consensual aspect of their relationship, and this episode was a good way to let the viewers see that it's not only Porsche that was still affected by what happened, Kinn as well. In episode 5, Kinn didn't really show much about how he felt, but here, as you pointed out, it's clear he regrets what he did. Does it make it okay? No. But to move forward, we definitely needed them to adress that night and I think they (writers, actors, director) did a good job with it. And I'm glad Kinn actually apologised for it and told Porsche that if he could, he'd take it back.
This episode feels like a fresh start for them both. They needed this time away to get to really know each other. Kinn always has his walls up because of his position, but being stranded with Porsche allowed him to act as a guy in his twenties, with no responsibility and just free to enjoy the moment with a man he clearly has feelings for.
Porsche also needed to see this side of Kinn and all their scenes just feel so beautiful and wholesome. I love the bickering, it's honestly one of my fave trope for couples, and the rock paper scissors scene was just hilarious! Some of their bickering moments reminded me of Merlin and Arthur too so that's another reason I love this episode!
Honestly, the handcuff / linked hands never gets old for me. I've seen it with lots of shows but I always enjoy it. But I agree Kinn should have freed them before jumping... lol I guess it was his revenge on Porsche for not telling him about the lighter ๐ they're honestly made for each other! From annoyance to lovers ๐คญโค๏ธ
One of my fave scene is when they talked about their dreams. In that moment, they're no longer mafia boss and bodyguard, just two men sharing their dream. There are many moments that made me go, ok now I definitely ship them, and this one was one of those moments.
The moment Porsche is willing to sacrifice his hand, you can see in Kinn's eyes how he already loves Porsche and it ties up well with the next scene when Kinn was willing to let Porsche go so he could get his dream.
The goodbye kiss was everything. We still weren't sure about Porsche's feelings but this scene just tells us everything we need. They are now on the same page with their feelings.
Of course, we had to have a bit of action to close the episode. Love that Porsche came back to help Kinn. And Kinn taking a bullet for Porsche. Damn, what a way to end the episode!!
We didn't get much of the other characters this episode, but Pete getting all flustered because of the condoms is still so hilarious to me ๐
Ah Vegas, I'm actually really curious what you'll think of him in later episodes.
The side story is just all we need after yet another cliffhanger. I actually did not watch it until much later because I was binge watching and had no idea that scene existed. I think I watched it after finishing episode 10 or 11. I was waiting for the new episode to air and checked the extras (behind the scenes, interviews) and found that scene in my recommendations on YouTube. But it's good that you watched it after episode 6. It's a nice piece setting the tone for the beginning of their relationship.
Kinn waking up because he was jealous Vegas was making moves on Porsche, so perfect!
Porsche being scared of ghosts ๐๐ and them being so soft and cuddly just warms my heart โฅ.
Next episode will be quite the ride! And you'll get to see more of Vegas too.
Can't wait for next week ๐๐

I've watched so many Thai dramas now that I don't need subs when characters swear or insult someone ๐

The reason why you read expressions like "fudge" is because the language has been censored in the translation XDDD. So everytime you read "fudge", "heck" or "shoot", just know they're actually saying something else :P
