I had guessed two out of three before the big reveal. The moment the creepy dude mentioned One earlier in the season, I immediately started to suspect he was One. Vecna I guessed watching this episode, I don't really remember what convinced me but I just had a feeling that Vecna was linked to Hawkins lab and well, the creepy guy definitely was sus from the start. I was surprised at the Henry Creel reveal though, that was really well done and it paid off well with how so much was linked to Victor Creel. Up to this episode, we had no idea about Brenner being involved as well. Good pay off and great way to show the reveal through flashbacks. Absolutely loved all the throwbacks to season 1 with communicating through the lights, the bike ride, and how awesome was that transition !!! So good!!! Also Eleven looking down the tunnel through which she escaped in season 1. And once again, it's Dusting piecing everything together about Vecna opening gates. Erica mvp with slashing the tires when escaping! I think the less engaging story this episode was Russia but it's still really good and doesn't lower the quality of the episode. Everything feels well paced and epic. And having to wait for the next two episodes was frustrating af lol but it was a great way to end volume 1, leaving us with the reveal and still so many questions... my biggest worry was what would happen to Nancy. Also there were a lot of theories about who could die in volume 2... stressful weeks to wait for the final 2 episodes ! You'd think they would all tell each other which are their favourite song just in case but not sure they did... I’m looking forward to the next two reactions!
