One thing that needs to praised again about the series and especially the final episodes is the outstanding acting from the main cast.
The scene in the van is so hard to watch because it feels hopeless and part of me feared this would really be the end for them...
It's also really refreshing and unique to have the characters saved by non protagonists but rather the people who rallied ever since the half of the series. It also sends a great message that it is important to always be aware of things and that if you work together it is possible to make a difference and in this case save lives and prove how corrupt Tawi is.
The main relationship between Sean and White has been a rollercoaster of emotions. The chemistry between Off and Gun is truly unique and they are very close off camera too, a really precious friendship that they have. The other series I loved them in is Theory of Love, it was few years before Not me but their chemistry was already great to watch.
Dan and Yok had such a cute start that I believed they'd be the non complicated light hearted couple. How wrong I was.... their reunion in the gallery after everything is really moving. I’m glad Yok punched him, deserved... but it's a beautiful hopeful ending for the two.
I agree about what you said about Eugene and Grahm, they felt under developped and I was convinced she would reject him because of Black. But they are quite cute together and I’m happy Grahm got a happy ending.
Tod was definitely interesting as the antagonist. Sing's acting is really good in Not Me. I have seen him in 2 other series ( The Gifted/ The Gifted graduation and He's coming to me) mainly comedic roles, and his acting really has improved since then.
Sing as Ohm in The Gifted is so different from Tod but he’s such a lovable and cute character, bit idiotic and a clown but Sing had great acting scenes too in the two seasons of the series.
Gun's acting as both twins has truly been the most impressive thing for me acting wise in the series. The way we can so easily tell which one he was in a scene. Also, the way they edited that last scene between the two is really good.
The final scene of the episode with Sean and White is beautiful and moving, it leaves us with this happy feeling for the two of them. I also love how the music from their first kiss is playing again for the final kisses we get to see.
Yes Cupid's last wish is another BL with Earth and Mixx. I recently finished that one and I loved it. They have such great scenes together, the chemistry is beautiful. It's a more light hearted and fun series than Thousand stars (but there's still angst). The body swap is very well done, the actress is also really good and the 3 are awesome in the series. There are also White (Thul in Thousand stars, Tian's best friend) and the actor who plays Yod in it.
Earth and Mixx have another BL series coming out hopefully before the end of the year called Moonlight Chicken (they're still filming it I think).
