Love this episode ! I forgot how fun the stag night was to watch "heβs clueing for looks" or "The game is something..." "on!!!!" Such memorable lines π€£ The speech was so good and so Sherlock. I love John's reaction being so moved and hugging Sherlock, yeah we were all moved!! The case was so well intertwined with the rest of the story. The pacing, the parallels, the callbacks, everything is just so well done! I feel so sad for Sherlock at the end when he leaves... especially when you think back to what Mrs Hudson said about how getting married changes someone, and the people we thought would be part of or life forever, get left behind. Also the line " Nobody leaves early at a wedding"... it is quite heartbreaking... Also, love the hat !!!

2022-09-10 09:36:50 +0000 UTCI feel so awful for Sherlock after this, his best friend off officially on a different kind of adventure where he can't follow. After getting married myself and slowly finding less time to be with friends (even my man of honor), it just hits different now than when I first watched this series. The Abominable Bride is essentially season 3 episode 4, definitely don't skip it! I like that you chose Happy to face the wall, I have always liked him the least.
