Modern Family always has a special spot in my heart. I'm happy to see you enjoying it. Since you asked - thought I'd answer some of your questions: Q: Why do the firemen come? A: There are less and less ambulances nowadays (esp where I'm from in North America). I'm not going to bore you with the politics behind it (mostly poor pay, working short, no benefits, etc etc.) So typically the fireppl come to majority of the 911 callouts, do first aid (e.g., naloxone for ODs, nitro, etc.) and then wait for ambulances to come to reassess and give more critical aid if necessary. Usually, ppl are found in difficult situations (e.g., trapped in cars, unable to get out of tight houses due to hoarding/large BMI) so fireppl are utilized before ambulances come to take patients away (they have the special tools and all, like the jaws of life!). Q: Is Feberizing a thing? A: Yes! It was a huge trend in parent groups back in the early 2000s where the point was to train infants to fall asleep on their own by "crying to sleep." Parents are instructed to come at timed intervals when babies are crying to give some form of comfort, but it's basically teaching the baby to self-soothe from 6 months old and onwards. (I don't think it's as popular as it used to be.)

The first episode gave us so many crying memes with Cam watching the baby cam 😂😂😂 Mannie's dad is a fun character and even though he brings a lot of spontaneous fun, he can't be relied on. And by the end of the episode, we can understand why Gloria isn't with him anymore. Phil thinking he has Claire owe him and then all his dreams crushed when all the pretty ladies show up 😂😂😂 Second episode has so many misunderstandings and the pay off is gold! Gloria seeing Jay talk about her but believing he was talking about Barkley 😂😂 and the end under the wedding arch 😂😂 the pay off was golden this episode! And everything with Phil, Claire, Luke, Hailey and Alex, so good! They're so chaotic And the running gag wity the broken step each episode 😂
