Added 2021-08-23 19:08:16 +0000 UTCJerry was stuck in the lab once again with the most tedious data collection tasks the rest of the research team could think. Even amongst the the stereotypes of antisocial nerds, Jerry was a misfit.
He sighed as he put yer another slide into the microscope to collect his observations. “If only I could be a big dumb himbo like those guys I see on tiktok. Then I’d be popular. Then I wouldn’t get stuck with all the lame lab tasks. I could just spend all day pumping iron at the gym.”
As if to answer his prayers Somewhere in the back of the lab, an ancient computer turned on and made a noise of introduction. Jerry went to investigate and discover some strange old program called Chronivac. There were all these sliders and buttons he could select to supposedly “change reality” but there was also a free write section, which Jerry decided to humor himself with. “I’m a big dumb muscular himbo.” He pressed enter and the words disappeared. As went back to his lab station he started to feel strange. The world began to ripple and his lab coat dissolved to turn into a stringer, which revealed newly bulging growing delts. He ballooned with strength as the lab begin to flicker away turning into a gym. His stringer took on a cheetah print color and the shorts that were once his slacks turned a bright pink hue. Then he could feel itching on his face and scalp as his hair and beard grew out, and with a slight burn and scent of chlorine lighted into a bleach blonde. Jerry looked in the mirror and smiled. There was not a thought left in his head after that.
