Selfish Item - Canva Video

So, some of you may recall that back in 2020 I had plans to start an animation project. I still do, but the animator I had started working with has become...hard to reach, let's say. So things stalled.

Meanwhile, I was so excited to get it going The Goddess Clue very kindly read and recorded a few of my poems. These had been intended to be used as narration over the animated sequence playing out the poem's story.

But, since this project has been so long delayed I felt bad that Clue's hard work had nothing to show for it. So I made this video for her to share as she likes, usinig art by Erosarts commissioned long ago for the same poem.

I created this in Canva, which is a great service for many things...but not the most flexible video editor. I hope that when I finally do get the animation project back on track I have something worthy for a proper video editor. But, in the meantime, Clue's work can finally be shared!
