Candace has a big victorious grin as she opens another drawer and pulls out some grey driving gloves. Tiani looks on playfully aghast at being outsmarted, having a playful tantrum.
CANDACE: Oh, you think I hadn’t planned for that?
TIANI: Gloves! To Hell with gloves! I always forget about gloves!
Panel 2
Candace holds up one hand to display her nails while examining how the glove would be hard to put on.
CANDACE: These nails do still make it a challenge, can we skip to the nails real quick?
Panel 3
Tiani and Candace again smile at each other as they bargain.
TIANI: You outsmart me and then want to ask a favor? Gutsy.
CANDACE: I’ll keep the color but clip them to something more reasonable.
Panel 4
Candace smiles as she watches her nails reduce down to a pretty size that will fit properly in the gloves. Tiani grins at her latest deal.
TIANI: I’ll shrink them now, but they’ll grow back if you don’t file them down with a flourish in public like a 1950s pin-up at least once a month.
CANDACE: Fine! Oh, my fingers feel so much lighter already!
