I am not sure if kids can ground their parents, but when they act like that, then maybe.

Tonnie: But BOO-ON!?
Bonnie: Go to bed!

First it would perhaps be the details of Bonnie knowing her mother has responsibilities to take care of and she needed to be back home at a reasonable time. She wouldn't know who her mother is dating at the time, but she would want to put her foot down in stepping up and being the parent of the household once Tonnie becomes a child in a sense.
