Keeping up Appearances

While I was sick I was watching a lot of ”Keeping up Appearances“. One of my favorite series ever.
It’s hard to say I love Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced Bouquet) as both the protagonist and antagonist of the show it’s hard not to adore her. Though she puts up her strict facade of a proper British woman despite being but a middle class she is a huge blast of fun.

The side characters of the show however shares the success of making the comedy last.

Here is my take on Hyacinth Bucket.

Now you may say that she looks nothing like the woman in the show and - you are completely right about that, but one, this is a younger version of her, and two - it’s me who drew her, what did you expect? 😁

I was honestly thinking her husband Richard must either have the patience of 10 oak trees to stick with her, or Hyacinth makes it up to him in another fashion. 😏 Perhaps with some tricks in the bedroom?
