This is similar to what you did for David Lee Roth on that Hank Williams tune. Touches like that set you waaaaaaaaaaaaay apart from the others on youTube that do mashups. This is actual craftsmanship.

That song by Merle is so obscure that there is no video footage that I was able to find of him performing it. I found that song on karaoke-version’s database of county songs in Eb major around 105 bpm. Only one where I was able to match the melody with the harmony.
