Okay… Idun is one of the goddesses in Norse mythology who I love the most. She is pretty much the goddess who with her hard labor keeps the gods strong and young. Her apples have many different qualities. Let’s just say they were probably the first story of how an apple a day keeps the doctor away.
But back a thousand years ago they probably said: An apple a day keeps the straw-death away. Now go out and play with your axe Boromir and don’t come back without fresh wounds!
