Here is another sketch page of chapter 5. I am following the trend that I loved in One Piece manga when the edges became dark to indicate a flashback… I did sometimes notice Eiichiro Oda would put flashback inside the flashbacks… 😵💫 that’s when the edges turned gray…
Don’t worry, I am not yet at the point where that is necessary, but I do adore flashbacks, and especially in the One Piece Manga, because they were used to help shape the dramatic narrative.
