Hey Everyone.

Greetings from Japan!

Hello everyone.
I am writing this from the historic and magnificent state of Japan. A country I have longed to visit since I was 12 years old and finally I am in the historic capitol of Kyoto.
We have only been here for a few days but I am already loving the place to death ♥️

The city of Kyoto is a marvel. There are so many incredible scenes.

And so many cultural differences that honestly, makes perfect sense.
And also some, that are more peculiar than others.

For example, I have yet to come across a dirty or even dusty car. I just haven’t seen a car that doesn’t look like it’s straight out of the factory. 😲 I am telling you, they literally shine!
Another thing - their parking skills… we are talking next level OP skills. They all reverse into their small drive ins and we are talking centimeters from the wall here.

The citizens of Kyoto seems to prefer compact cars that are build to use what little place they have to the fullest.

We (me and my dad) have been to several temples and oh my goodness are they magnificent. The dedication and understanding that the Japanese put into their old traditions and history is honestly very touching.
A country that forgets its history has no future. A country that tries to forget it’s history wants no future.

The weather has been mostly sunny and warm, but to the Japanese it’s still spring, and int he summer it can easily get warmer.

The food here is excellent. And I do mean Excellent.
I was with my dad and his wife to one of their go to sushi places - fun fact - we like to think of sushi as a thing that all Japanese people eats all the time, not entirely the case. Even to the Japanese, Sushi is thing that is enjoyed once in a while, but probably still more often than we do in the west.
I am not a fish eater. It’s the smell that ticks me off. Bit that meal… that was incredible. I asked my fathers wife - she speaks Japanese - to please tell the chef that he had made a man who rarely if ever eats fish to have the meal of a lifetime. ♥️ It was that good.
I am not so much for Tuna, but the salmon and eel was awesome.

And the helpfulness and the respect of the Japanese people is absolutely amazing. I dropped my ticked to go to a castle today, and a man quickly walked up to me and gently handed it over to me. ♥️ They are a truly amazing people.

And their fashion sense is impeccable. Simply perfect.

I have been feeling a little under the weather, but it is going away quickly.

I hope to make another update soon.
