Ender 5 gets a new brain!
Added 2019-04-11 23:22:07 +0000 UTCI decided to boost my printing ability and add one of those Enders everyone talks about. I decided I'd go rogue and get the Ender 5 since I can do more with it.
First is a light surgery consisting of a Duet Maestro board, a bl touch, and a bondtech BMG extruder. I had two of those just sitting in the basement so it was easy enough to make happen.
I did calibrate the stock printer and dialed it in prior to taking it apart. My V1 Ender PLA profile is below so if you have one of these feel free and use it.
Now for a quick relax session then to sit and reterminate every single cable from the printer so it fits on the Maestro. π
