After fruitlessly trying to find a great linear bearing under $10 USD it's time to move another direction.

Sadly there just aren't any good bearings out there for the price I'm willing to call good. THK on stock rods was the best but at $12USD each now that's too much. Overall the prusa design is dated and linear rods and bearings are noisy and need a lot of work over time to give you the best prints possible.

Linear rail on the other hand come in far superior specs and overall will give a smoother motion at the cost of more work in aligning them.

Stay tuned for the swap over! I'm going to reprint my Bear MK3 and convert it to all the latest Bear parts and also swap in the new LDO linear rails!
