Upgrades!
Added 2019-11-04 14:13:04 +0000 UTCI have a bunch of printer maintenance to do including upgrading my MK3 bear to a MK3s which means this little guy will come in handy.
I have a few MK3 Bondtech extruders but haven’t used them since I’d like to get everything up to current standards which means I may need a couple more of these upgrades. I snagged this one from Parts Built since everyone I normally order from was sold out but it’ll get me through this one rebuild.
My printing has slowed down a bit as I have a long list of things to upgrade. My duet MK3 needs some TLC including a new duet case, my MK2.5 Bear needs to upgrade to a MK2.5s and Bear 2.1, my MK3 with bear extruder and X axis needs a ton of love as it’s been basically ignored as it’s been printing all my CF parts, my mosquito BMG MK3s needs new parts as well. Oh, and purple bear is sitting waiting for final parts and such. I think every week I’ll work on one and get them working to optimal condition as to not overload myself.
In order:
1. Finish Purple Bear
2. Redo my MK3 Bear to MK3s
3. Redo the MK2.5 Bear to MK2.5s w/ silent stepper upgrade
4. Redo the Mosquito BMG
5. Redo the MK3 with bear X and extruder
6. Redo Duet MK3
7. Redo my custom Abrams Printer
Two months of craziness right there but totally worth it. Lots of little upgrades and lots of printing to do.
