I built a prusa!

My buddy Dan bribed me with 3D printer parts so I’d help build his new MK3s. Printed in Aromic CF Nylon and upgraded with sexy things like the Vecko X axis, Adjustable Y axis, better Z axis it’s going to be a fun ride for sure.

This is my first prusa with the new Delta power supply. It’s really nice. Heavy and well made. What I didn’t like is all but 2 of the bearings were completely dry and not even anti rust oil applied.

The little things like these make me sad but it’s easy enough to pack with new grease and make them work as they should. And they wonder why so many people need warranty replacement of the rods.

The printer passed initial self test and even got a 0.01 degree skew so I’m happy with that. Can’t wait to see the first prints from it and hopefully it’ll last forever and ever.
