My day job
Added 2019-05-07 02:49:40 +0000 UTCSorry it's been a bit sporadic with posts. I've got a lot to post about but need time to relax and write them up but my photography job is starting to creep in so I need to start balancing my schedule and get it optimized.
I've had 4 shoots in the last 5 days and thousands of images to edit plus a lot of film got used up once again. That's right. I'm a hipster.
Fun fact. I used to buy old film cameras, fix them, then bling them out. This here is a wonderful example of my favorite Polaroid camera I rebuilt and finished in wood vs the fake leatherette.
Sadly today I found out it has a light leak so I need to bench it for the time being. Thankfully I have about twenty more I can grab grill my shelf so I won't be missing out too much. I wish I had 3d printing at my disposal when I did used to dabble in camera repair. Used to just buy a dozen cameras to harvest the best parts and hope to make a few working cameras.
Oh well. Maybe when I retire I can go back to playing with film more and making sexy camera mods. 😅🤓
