Building a Bear 420
Added 2019-06-12 03:20:51 +0000 UTCI've been tasked with teaching the local markerspace how to build a printer and of course we decided to make a giant Bear!
It's going to run on an SKR V1.3 32 bit board which we will make a marlin 2.0 firmware for it and hopefully rock some TMC 2208 drivers.
All in all it should be an awesome build and give a really nice printer for them to use for their members.
Last week I taught some very basic intro to printing things and answers tons of general questions about printing and builds. This week was all about cutting our own extrusions and assembling the frame. Next week we will get to assembling all the printed parts and such.
The hardest part will be the board for sure but this is what learning is all about.
