First test cube from SKR MK3s
Added 2020-01-31 02:52:01 +0000 UTCIt’s clean. Very very very clean. Cleaner than when I had duet installed.
Some notes. This was my Duet Bear so 0.9 degree XY, geared bear extruder with LDO geared motor, plus some nice parts. Still has stock PSU, e3dv6, and bear parts.
Now that I have this working I’m going to run test prints while I’m downstairs in case of tragedy. Once I think it’s safe I’ll run a longer stress test print and share this firmware as well as the Prusa Slicer profile I made.
I ordered another board and will swap it to a 1.8 degree XY Prusa and compare. So far results are promising and I’m super stoked to keep pushing forward.
The prints so far have a mirror finish. Zero moire and zero typical 602. You can see very minor uneven extrusion but it’s fdm and we will never not have it to some extent BUT it’s soooo clean. Cleanest I’ve ever seen.
