Added 2020-02-04 04:00:24 +0000 UTCAfter a ton of testing with my first SKR V1.4 build it’s time to do it again.
The first build is awesome and thankfully is working like a workhorse without any bugs. Motor and stepper driver heat is well within range. PSU temps all within range. Features all work but I haven’t programmed the filament sensor or the pinda yet so this machine is going to get that treatment.
I’ve found some good documentation on how to wire the Pinda 2 and even how to make it work on the SKR but I haven’t done it so it’s time to do it. Worst case scenario it’ll act like a Pinda 1 which is more than adequate.
Filament sensor should be easy enough. Most likely use the Z max pin. Nothing too difficult.
After that it’s all the same as I’ve done. Base profile coming ASAP along with a base firmware.
