First benchy from the new board.
Added 2020-01-13 16:35:14 +0000 UTCIt’s not perfect but it’s not bad. Thanks to Keith the first working firmware is stable enough to print with. The motion is smoother and the printer runs a notch quieter.
What issues? Even though I’m getting a thousand times less vertical banding due to the better drivers there is still some typical prusa 602. Overall the print quality is better but there is tuning to do and options to enable and disable to see how they affect print quality.
For reference this is the stock MK3s before I swapped the board. The moire and uneven extrusion we all love about the MK3s.
