Hey everyone.

First of all, I want to thank you all for the kind wishes and condolences. It has truly warmed my heart to read. ❤️

I am feeling a little better after some long talks with both family and friends about my grandmothers passing. It really only feels like yesterday that she picked up me and my little brother from school and walked us home in the nice summer weather.

The weather is nice these last few days, and I took the time to return to my old childhood area and walked the exact same route I walked with her home… It was so weird, but it was like I could see her and hear her walk right beside me… her kind laughter… her warm hand in my own…

I cried when I finally got to the place she used to buy us ice creams. The kind lady in the shop asked me what was wrong and I told her my old grandmother had just passed and she gave me a free Ice cream when I told her that I had just walked the route home we used to walk when I was just a child.

To think that life goes by so quickly.

Then I had to remember, that even before I was born, she had lived over 1.5 my current time on earth. She was old, and truly… her generation was not the healthiest there’s ever been. So her age was a pretty fine age to go. But then again…

We all wish we had more time… when the last second has passed.

I am doing fine. Actually. After these long walks in beautiful sunshine… it almost feels like my grandma has really come home.

We are but shadows and dust, speckled with the light that is our father. Our mother is our home, and one day we shall return to her again.

Sorry for my blabbing.

But know that I am truly truly… truly grateful for your kind wishes. It has really been warming to read. ❤️

I wish you all the best in return. I always wish all of you the best whenever I sit by my table and draw. I always hope and think that it will cheer you up, bring you happiness or bring you a form of satisfaction.

Sometimes, it’s the smallest things in life that brings the most pure joy and pleasure.

A lesson grandma taught me - a lesson I hope my future kids shall learn from me. And thus, she never really disappears… as long as we remember the things we are taught.

Yours more than truly
