Mrs Bonnie Stoppable

Hey everyone.

Been watching Home Alone movies again - as I do every year at this season. Remember Leigh Zimmerman from the second movie?

Maybe you know her as the lady in black whom Kevin pinches in the rear and who then slaps the bejesus out of Marv and Harry, giving Kevin a chance to run for the park.

I always loved her look in that scene - maybe because she reminded me of my own mother - her look, her style, her hair… all of her screamed my mom, even when I was a child and watched the movie. 😂

Now, I have never seen my mom slap someone in real time, but I have enough funny stories about my mom to last a lifetime.

But as I was reflecting on that scene - badass as it is, I sorta imagined that Bonnie would do the same to protect her assets.

Especially, if she had just become Mrs Stoppable - and yes, Bonnie takes Ron’s last name. She is trad in that way. And NO ONE touches the buns if they aren’t her husband.
