I don’t know if anyone will recognize this joke… It’s raining men… one of the songs I mostly detested in my entire life. As when I was about 14-ish, the song came out, and it was such a plague that every single radio station back then had to play it at least 15 times a day.
Yes I was born before the streaming and such.
We had a boombox or whatever that monstrosity was called in my old home room back in school, and whenever the teacher was out, that thing was blaring at full blast from 7th to 9th grade.
I HATED it.
I have always been sensitive to loud noises, and back then there was one level of the sound, and that was the highest… It was torture. And that song… that one particular song… I have harbored a hatred towards it ever since 😂 Like seriously, whenever I hear it I stick my fingers in my ears until I dare check if it’s safe again. Probably have some trauma stuck to it, but that is why I call it a plague. (Not true hate of course, but simply… Urgh…. annoyance!)
Anyhoo!
The story continues. Ron is airborne… making a grand escape from the ferocious cougar that is chasing him. Now… the landing… well… that wasn’t thought out…
