Ron and Monnie

Stuck in a safehouse in an undisclosed location in the country known as Italy, Ron and Monnie are trying to pass the time until they are good to travel again.

Ron and Monnie end up being hunted by some of Monnie’s, or rather Agent Mirage’s old enemies. And they end up in Italy. Mirage has a safehouse, and she and Ron hides out there together.

It is a house she often used in the past, and it has a lot of secrets tugged away. Including some old photo albums. And that is where Ron sees some of Monnie’s old memories. And learns about Tonnie’s dad - Mr Incredible.

Monnie explains that she was truly and deeply in love with him, and that they were gonna get married but… well… Helen Parr had other plans, and thus she ended up a single mom.

Now Monnie isn’t exactly bitter about men… no not really. More like… she got annoyed that she… sorta lost. I think it is more akin to a humiliating defeat than a broken heart.

Now it did leave traces on her personality. She has a strong aversion towards Americans. She can’t stand the thought of wearing pants, and has forbidden her daughters to ever wear those things - she calls it “A hideous American habit!”

And yes I know, that I have drawn Tonnie wearing pants on occasion. And Tonnie should just be happy that her mother never witnessed it, because had she ever seen that, then Tonnie would have been spanked until she was pink all over her buttocks.
