I’ve been in a jungle book mood lately.
I happened to find some nostalgic dynamite on YouTube. There was this period where you could get dance games for PS2, and the Jungle book was one of these games. Jungle Book Dance Party or something. Shanti was the last level, but ironically also the easiest. Her song was also one of the songs that… were kinda cute and nice.
Now don’t get me wrong, I loved most of the songs in the game, especially the ones that were from the movie.
The only song I was a little… disappointed with was the elephants marching song, as it was NOTHING like the one in the movie. A shame, it was actually a funny song. But whatever.
Shanti, for her very limited time in the movie actually represents a vision into Mowgli’s future life in the village.
I know that one ought not to sell the skin before the bear is shot… Just a figure of speech Baloo ♥️… but it is writing in the sub-context that Shanti and Mowgli are to grow up and become husband and wife - as Shanti herself sings in the movie.
I don’t really know why I am writing this, because it is completely irrelevant, as… Mowgli ain’t gonna be part of this. Shanti is to join Ron’s harem as he falls into her river and and looks upon this beautiful Indian Flower.
I hope you like it, despite my rambling ♥️
Yours truly
