She is attentive to her “Forever boyfriend” - note: When Heather uses the phrase; Forever boyfriend or girlfriend, she is in fact talking about a spouse, but she is a little too dim to understand that concept - mainly because she is kinda childish, even though she is a grown ass woman. She mistakes wife’s as some that is old and tells tales. And instead says “Forever boyfriend” to Ron, in fact meaning her husband.
The boyfriend she will have forever. Heather has never had one of those before. Ron is her first and last of those. She is emotionally loyal to Ron.
