Whilst Amphibia doesn’t quite hold the same story value as Gravity Falls and is kinda slow, especially in season 1, it gets tons of points for being very imaginative and the characters are wholesome and fun - it still has a little too much of the Disney Preach in it - what I mean is that in every episode it seems like the characters have to tell what they have learned. It is a little annoying that they don’t let the viewer get to that point themselves… but it is forgivable.

Anne is both sweet, funny and enjoyable. She is quite an airhead and her heritage and her behavior is so great, and I love her a ton. And the fact that she… uh… (don’t wanna spoil) has a blue tint here and there, makes the story even better. It’s cool to see the tribute to anime style. And it works in this story.

I am not saying go watch it - it’s amazing, because that is not exactly true. On a scale from 1-10 it is an easy 7 🤗 and I personally enjoyed it.

She might look a little big here, but… I think it’s due to the diet of bugs that she eats in Amphibia. hehehehe… I hope you like it.
