One of the more unknown goddess of the Pantheon - in some cases never really counted among the actual ruling pantheon, despite being the sibling of Zeus and Hera and Hades, and in some stories, technically the oldest of the children of Rhea.
Hestia was the goddess of the Hearth - a pretty much redundant position today, but in the Bronze Age it was a very important place in any house. And thus she was actually a very important goddess.
She was one of the virgin goddesses - hehehe, well until she meets Ron Stoppable that is ;) hehehe our boy can charm any Olympian.
While Hestia’s importance has altered over the years, her position has also slightly changed in modern depictions of her. Including this artist who has made her into a keeper of the memories. The goddess of stories. And the protector of the Flame of Olympus - meaning the collected wisdom of all Olympus. Think of her as the Olympian librarian. What knowledge is kept she knows all about. And what knowledge is not kept, is not worth keeping.
Classic superior intellectual arrogance.
I hope you like it.
Yours truly
