If Wilhelm would have told him that his mother would be paying for his last year, he wouldn't have any leverage anymore and August would have told the headmistress Simon brought the drugs in. Wilhelm needed August to let it go. If August would have just waited a day and thought on what he wanted to do, none of this would have happened. But he wanted revenge and he wanted it now.
