Well actually there is a better way to increase it without buying games. The steam market place for example. Buy an item and sell it back and make a minor loss of say 3p. Well sadly valve thought of that so market purchases dont increase the max point cap. HOWEVER! Purchases in games like csgo or TF2 do count. So buy csgo case keys in csgo and then sell them on the market place for slightly less than you bought them. Purchases in games do count to increasing the max cap.
How it works.
Normal way to raise cap:
1. Buy £10 worth of games
2. Cap raises 1270 points allowing you to level up the badge or getting a discount.
Cheat Way:
1. Buy £10 worth of CSGO Keys
2. Sell the keys for £9.50
3. Cap raises by 1270 points for only 50p instead of £10
