Update for RBC Pro 1.3: Introducing Exciting New Features!
I’m excited to announce the release of RBC Pro 1.3, packed with incredible new features that will take your vehicle rigging and simulations to the next level. Here's what's new:
- Asset Browser: In collaboration with ProductionCrate we bring you an integrated Asset Browser. Explore a collection of nine low-poly pre-rigged vehicles, ready to be incorporated into your projects. With just a few clicks, you can now access a variety of pre-rigged vehicles, saving you time and effort in asset creation.
- Advanced Drivers: Enhancing the realism of your vehicle simulations, Now, you can enjoy accurate MPH and KM/H speed conversion, allowing for precise control and measurement of your vehicle's speed. Additionally, we've introduced power steering controls, allowing you to fine-tune the steering behavior of your vehicle rigs with exceptional accuracy.
- Speedometer: Keep track of your vehicle's speed with the brand-new Speedometer. This customizable component provides real-time speed feedback, enabling you to monitor and showcase the velocity of your vehicles accurately.
- Guides: One of the most exciting additions is Guides. Now, you can use objects to control your vehicles effortlessly. Assign an object as a guide, and take advantage of the auto drive, auto reverse, and auto brake functionalities. CUSTOM RIGS
The RBC Addon can be used to rig a wide range of vehicle types, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, and basically anything with wheels. The addon provides a variety of different rigging options that can be easily customized to match the specifications of the vehicle you're working with.
QUICK RIG
The quick rig feature included in the RBC Addon Pro is a powerful tool that allows you to set up a functional car rig with just a single click. This feature makes the rigging process extremely fast and efficient, allowing you to create a functional rig in just a few seconds.
SET UP
The Set up menu makes rigging a vehicle an easy and straightforward process. The support for collections and hierarchies, along with additional options like brake calipers, allow you to create a highly detailed and realistic rig with minimal effort. The user-friendly interface makes it easy to access the various rigging options and fine-tune your rig to your exact needs.
TUNING
The Tuning menu provides advanced tuning options to fine-tune your vehicle rig. It supports tuning of the suspension, weight, and wheel friction, and a custom menu that allows you to tune individual sections of your vehicle. These features allow you to create a rig that is perfectly suited to your animation needs.
CONTROLS
The Controls menu provides a variety of control options for animating your car rig. These options include Drivers, Game Controllers, and Keyboard, and Guides which allow you to control the rig in different ways and make adjustments on the fly. This gives you the flexibility to animate your rig in the way that works best for you and create realistic and detailed animations with ease.
ANIMATION
The Animation panel provides powerful tools for recording and baking the animation of your vehicle rig. This panel allows you to record the rigid body world cache, which is a simulation of the physics of your rig. This allows you to capture the movement and behavior of your rig in real time and use it in your animation.
COLLISIONS
The Collision panel makes it easy to set up objects for your vehicle to interact with. This panel allows you to create collision shapes for your car and other objects in the scene, such as the ground, buildings, and other objects. This allows you to simulate the interactions between your car and the environment, making your animation more realistic.

What's Next?
The next update of the RBC Addon, version 1.3, will focus on advanced animation panel features and curve support for controls. The advanced animation panel features will allow you to create more realistic and detailed animations, by giving you access to a wider range of animation tools and controls
