As I recently upgraded my computer with more processing power and storage, I can work with FLAC files easily. What does it mean? From now on, if the soundtrack is available as FLAC, I will create my cuts as FLAC files instead of 320 kbps MP3 files. For now, I am not going to recreate my old cuts for FLAC quality. (Let me know if you are really interested in some old cuts. Maybe I can change my mind...)
How can you listen to my future cuts in FLAC quality?
YouTube? - No. YouTube is always compressing everything. YouTube's sound quality is equivalent to 256 or 320 kbps MP3.
SoundCloud? - Yes, kind of. SoundCloud recommends uploading FLAC files. However, some kind of "transcoding to High Quality format" is happening, so it's probably not 100% FLAC file quality.
My Patrons? - YES! My patrons (and also Ko-fi supporters in a way) can access FLAC files.
At the moment, I am working on a new ultimate cut, and you can see that the FLAC file is ready to go!
