While I was a additional costumer on the show from ep 102-108, while it’s a very small part, I also got the opportunity to help build the suit pictured above.
The costume was designed by Meghan Kasperlik (the designer of the whole show) the build team for “Mr.Shadow” (x 2) was led Chris Donio (key specialty builder) and the head cutter/fitter/stitcher was Sean Patton. There was also Duncan, Joanie and myself as additional specialty builders. Very small team to build two suits.
My tasks ranged from molding, casting, additional sewing, coordinating the project and taking care of the suit on set.
It was a very tight deadline in the film world with only about 2 weeks. To add to it, we didn’t have the actors measurements till 3 days before the due date, so we intially built it for stunt guy (no body or head casts), who was bigger than the actor but had to engineer it to be able to be modified to be taken in for the actor while looking exactly the same.
Even though this is on patreon and Meghan will never read it, big thanks to her for the project.

Yes, I watched Watchmen, and I will watch it even more hearing that you are working on it. This costume was AMAZING. I thought you were trying to do a Batman concept, without getting too close to Batman. It also reminds me of Big Daddy, from Kick Ass.
