Have you guys seen "what we do in the Shadows"?? Season 2 just started!!

So I was going to keep this as a short post, but I wanted to ask you guys something as someone who followers a cosplayer (me) and I'm sure other cosplayers..

Once in awhile I'll see posts  on my page, though it has been awhile complaining like
" not as nice and kind as i remember...shes got dark and her heart hs a hole in it...she ignores old fans and to her were dead..' "

What triggers these comments?

I ended up responding, because .. secret tip to you guys.. its comments like this that really sting. I"m not maybe the best at staying in touch (even with my local friends) but I do spend a lot of time reading comments, and responding genuinely. You take the time to comment I want to take the time to respond. Though I can't always come up with something clever. Or I'll post before I'll go to bed and then fall asleep :) I just don't think when people make these comments they realize there is a lot in my life going on that I'm trying to juggle. And I try to treat "old fans" and "New fans" the same, like a community..

Anyways I just thought I would ask to try to understand maybe where these people are coming from? And honestly this guy says he has been a fan for awhile, but I'm pretty good at remembering people when that consistently comment throughout the years and his name didn't ring a bell.  That's not to say he hasn't posted.

I do just want to say I appreciate how easy going all of you are and you don't make feel pressured or like I owe you anything. It means a lot.. that's terrible for friends or you online community to do..

I am so guilty at seeing a bunch of great comments and being consumed with the one negative comment.
