Those of you who are familiar with dragon con might know of costumes that are referred to as “Drinking costumes” usually they stem from a goofy idea with friends and are a little simpler than some of the other costumes you wear, also something you feel comfortable being in for hours having drinks with friends.
One year at dragon on when ARCHER first came out a bunch of decided to cosplay from the series. I loved doing this because I got to cosplay with friends.
Also got my 1st vaccination today so one step closer to being able to attend cons when they reopen as well as possible meet up with photographers.
I debated bringing this up again, I’m not looking for “I’m sure you look fine the way you are” but it’s something I’ve been feeling the last half a year. This week I did weight myself and it confirmed how I been feeling. I’m put in a fair bit of weight, I’ve had a pretty sedentary this past year, and even though I eat fairly well, it’s all caught up with me. Which is why I’ve even been reluctant to take selfie’s and realizing a couple new costumes show off my stomach, and would be too self consciously take a photo, let alone wear it at con.
So this week I’ve started to tighten up my eating habit but most of all started back on my Eliptical till hopefully the gym opens up (but I HATE working out) but I want to feel good while wearing my costumes and sharing them with you. And most of all just feeling good about myself overall, in and out of costume.
I’m writing this on the elliptical now! Going to wrap this up! And I’ll work on the next month digital calendar soon.
