100% fair! This is a dangerous man who has it out for them. And Garrett going in without a well thought out plan was brash and stupid. And Jonny is pretty smart and cunning when he needs to be.

He did nothing to Garret for him to be more afraid of Jhonny than Surge, he's not being intimidating he's being human, and he's right to be upset. Garret was stupid thinking about doing anything to Surge now.

I think Garrett was right to not directly involve him since, given Jonny's past, it's not a good idea to have Jonny in the spotlight for any legal issues. Surge likely has friends that work in law and it would be easy to crush Jonny if it remotely looks line he's attempting a crime against Surge.

And can't wait to see what his reaction will be when Garrett tells him that Surge is now on the verge of doing something worse if they don't break up. Honestly, it's gonna be a miracle for Garrett if Jonny doesn't just straight up dump him.
