But airplanes and zeppelins don't have precision explosives that could destroy a wall easily set.

Assuming it's to keep armies out. If it's supposed to keep civilians in certain areas (like the Berlin wall or the walls of compounds) it would make a lot of sense. And just look at how the earth queen is I can totally imagine that

For the steel beams in the ice ravine, if some ice has formed around the beams and they are securely in place, I could see it helping the structural integrity, like making sure it doesn’t crack/split in half. However there is no reason (that I could think of) for them to be asymmetrical, like I think it would make it slightly less efficient if anything.
On another note, I’m very glad we are getting to season 3 of korra, season 2 of korra is so bad that I usually skip the entire thing, but now we have some actually good content to over analyze.

I'm pretty sure the walls of Ba Sing Sae are more about segregating the lower class from the higher class rather than defense. In airbender it was both, but they clearly still value the segregation of classes.

Yes, but Korra has plane. Even the Fire Nation had zeppelins. Unless the walls of the Earth Kingdom have great air defenses, they dont do anything.

Why Would you even build wall even half the people in you country can simply destroy the wall in seconds.
Every Earth bender could tear down the wall in seconds

The Earth Kingdom is stated to be resistant to change + the walls represent the divide between the rich and the poor.

I love the content btw, big fan. But I feel like you don't highlight the cool moments as much in Korra compared to Airbender (ik there are less) But the scene where the Dai lee take kai I feel is really creepy and I just thought you would have something to say about it.
