2023-10-10 22:50:17 +0000 UTCAll the talk at the end about GoT going downhill after a few seasons and then turning from a cultural phenomenon into nothing after the final season makes me think of The Expanse show. I would love nothing more than for you to watch and overanalyze that show, it would be incredible. The Expanse is everything GoT should have been. The quality is consistently top-tier, the characters are competent people making competent decisions, the scope and scale of things is massive, and its final season 100% sticks the landing, even if I wish there were more episodes in that season. I just wish Amazon had promoted The Expanse like GoT got promoted. It probably couldn't have been as huge as GoT was, but it could have been a giant success with a fanbase that was never massively disappointed by the show's final season.
