The sun sets in the west, so in the intro the Fire Nation was invading from a setting sun. But, the sun rises in the east... so if the world of Avatar is a globe, they could have invaded from the east too and you would still be correct.

2022-04-19 23:59:06 +0000 UTCOne interesting thing I havent seen any video or podcast mention has to do with the imprisoned episode. The warden was voiced by Gorge Takei, who was himself put into an American internment camp during WW2. I always felt like that was an intentional nod to the fact or some other kind of symbolism, or at least it would be cooler than a simple coincidence.
