We could all learn something by this guy, he saw this meat monster and was like "you know what? I don't need to know more. Im done now"

Oh no, the rat with the flat back end triggered a very specific childhood memory of watching a squirrel try to cross the busy street near my apartment and having its back end flattened, just as described in this story. It dragged itself along by just its front legs, still trying to cross the road, until mercifully another car killed it. It was the worst instance of body horror I've ever witnessed. Imagine being alive, still wanting desperately to live, but your entire bottom half is simply flat. In one instant, flat. Just, gone, really, but still attached. Horrible. Oh but I guess it will be magic in this story. A bit less painful that way, maybe.

I liked this quite a lot. I'm curious to know more about the mysterious person we're alluding to, but overjoyed to hear it's going to have more library content. I love books. And my local library. And my bones.
